Mas Nova

In the early 2000s, Joseph was the frontman for Mas Nova. The band was known for the stylistic bravado of their live performances. After supporting their debut album, Hollywood, with a couple of years of local and regional shows, winning the national Ernie Ball Music Man Battle of the Bands, and appearing at the Pittsburgh stop of The Van’s Warped Tour, they disbanded in 2008. They have put on a couple of reunion shows since then at the lost but never forgotten, storied rock club, Sherlock’s Park Place, in Erie, PA. You can find their music and their renditions of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears & “Gary Jules” and “Send Me An Angel” by Real Life on all music streaming services and anywhere you download music.
