I’m looking to take Dead Star Press to the next level with a bookmobile that will enable us to participate in more events than ever, get more WEIRD and banned books out into the world, and grow our business. We hope to cover the cost of a used box truck and the conversion to turn it into a functioning bookmobile. It’s an incredible amount of work to load, unload, set up, break down, load, and unload the growing amount of Dead Star Press publications, and new, used and vintage literary sci-fi, speculative, dystopian, social commentary, and weird books. Renovating this truck would allow us to basically be set up and ready to go at any time with far less work for each event, allowing us to do more and bigger events to get our titles and the other brilliant books we carry.
We hope to get to 15K to pay for the truck and all renovations.
