Once more, you made it happen, but this year is twice as sweet. Both the Dead Star Press Bookmobile and I made the Phoenix Magazine’s Reader’s Choice ballot!
Now, we just need tons of votes to pull it off. We’re up against some seriously incredible competition. Our Bookmobile is a long shot underdog compared to the other bookstores. Seriously, some of these places are absolute institutions in the Phoenix area. I won’t name names, but we love all of these incredible bookstores. It’s the same in the Author category. Even though you have managed to vote for me enough to allow me the honor of winning the last three years, there are some big names on the list.
You can vote once a day, starting at 4:01 pm MST today – 4/30. It’s absolutely imperative that we get as many people voting as many times as possible over this month. Our audience is vastly smaller than who we’re up against, so we need our supporters to be vastly more voracious.
The last couple of months, so many incredible humans have visited the Dead Star Press Bookmobile at so many amazing events, and the response has been nothing short of staggering. We knew we loved the idea, and we are thrilled that so many of you love it as much as we do.
