Don’t do it. Don’t hate people for being manipulated in a different way than you’ve been manipulated. Trust that we all have been. Know that we can all be wrong, and empathize with one another for that reason. This should be our mantra. It will not be easy. It may even be impossible. I’m the one saying it, and still I know I will continue to fail at it much of the time. But if the thought is there, if it gives you pause in the least, the outward reward is worth the internal warfare.
