“If I have to listen to one more adult say, “But they did it first,” about anything, my brain is going to implode and drain out of my nose. Aside from being wildly obnoxious, it’s way too motivated. You don’t have to do things because other people do things. In fact, you don’t have to do a lot of things. Stop doing things, people!”
-Joseph D. Newcomer – The Unmotivational Life Coach
If you’re basing the amount of integrity you’re willing to have on how much integrity you think others have, you didn’t have any to begin with.
Whataboutisms and but-they-did-it-firsts and the-end-justifies-the-means-es are all useless deflections proving only that in the face of scrutiny, you will easily succumb to the lowest level of others—stooping to their stupidity.

Plus one on that thought.

Your viewpoint indicates deep thinking, Joseph, and deep thinking can lead to wisdom if you keep your mind open. It sure looks like you did.

So if anyone has done “it” it is a good idea! is that how we are all going to jump off that cliff? It is a dangerous world of many taking that leap of “faith” and joining the cult or trying to break it up. It will be interesting to see the outcome. I am not at all sure that this is a “great time to be alive!”
