The next time you go to tell somebody that you have no filter, instead, try telling them that you lack the ability and haven’t the capacity to comprehend and/or perform the situational nuances of civilized human interaction. It’s far more accurate.
Alternatively, you could also tell them you’re an attention-starved, self-absorbed prick.
Having a filter is a good thing. Without them, we would be earlier, evolutionarily speaking, primates, bare-handed and throwing our poo at each other. When you say you don’t have one, you’re basically telling everyone that you can’t distinguish between poo-throwing monkeys and yourself.
There are folks who don’t have filters by no fault of their own. If that’s not you, you’re just making excuses for poor behavior.

Reading the news will turn a Nun feral! It would be nice if ANYONE could write the news in the vernacular of Joe Friday of Dragnet! “Just the news, Ma’m, Just the news!

Unfortunately, even when the news states facts, people pretend it’s just an opinion. People no longer know the difference. We’ve lied to ourselves so much that we can no longer discern the truth.
