As children we play “One of these things is not like the other”, “Which of these things are exactly the same?”, or “What about these two similar things is different?”. Fine games for developing certain skill sets, but not so much for others. As an adult it may be more useful to play how are these two seemingly different things alike and in what useful and important ways are they unique. Understanding how we are the same is just as important as celebrating our eccentricities; it’s the only thing which allows for us to do so.
