The greatest art teaches you this while showing you how to laugh, whole-heartedly, the desperate laughs of insight and understanding for things that cannot change, that will not change, or that change at a rate so gradual that it is imperceptible despite the immediacy of its absolute need to do so. As we ignorantly revel in our own advancements, we sink further into stagnation, complacency, and hubris with increasing momentum. We are fast ascension. We are rapid decline.
