Way Fairer

Those who say, “Well, life isn’t fair,” are the people most concerned with everyone else suffering the way they have so that life is fair to them.

Maybe we should spend more time validating people who think most everything in life is now kind of bullshit. Every day we endure cliché horseshit like, “Buck up, Buttercup.” and “No one said life would be easy.” I’m going the opposite direction. Shit sucks, and people are justified and have a right to be annoyed and disappointed. If your soul-sucking mottos like “Life is what you make it,” are true, just know that they make life pretty shitty for people who are angry for legitimate reasons, of which there are many.

Life isn’t fair. Sure. But that doesn’t mean you should do everything in your power to ensure it stays that way.

Let’s try not to keep things status quo if the status quo is bullshit. Let’s change the bullshit and start a new status quo.
