Thoughts From Inside A Crumbling Society Vol. IV

If you’ve decided that, no matter what new evidence there is about anything you believe, you’re going to just keep on believing things that have been proven to be nonsense, please let everyone know so the rest of us can avoid you.

*Just regular people with regular goals.

Look, these are just regular guys who want completely normal things like gold,-plated, ballrooms and arches and secret layers and everyone else’s oil and are trying to make sure that we have a human-created technological apocalypse to avoid the coming of the antichrist just like everybody else.

(*Just your average American psychopaths.)

May your kindness only need be extended to those capable of offering it in return today.

AKA, I hope you don’t have to deal with a bunch of assholes today.

If you’re wondering how we got here, society told people to feel bad about the shitty things they think. Some people had a hard time owning that, and then someone came along and told everyone that those terrible ignorant thoughts are OK to think and feel. That’s the reason. It’s that simple.

Just in case you ever look at other people, and it seems like they have it all together, the people who have it the most together don’t have much to do or they have a lot of other people doing everything for them.

I love how we have to act like we’re asking for a huge favor to get people to do anything approaching the bare minimum. But I also know It’s the result of everyone always being absurdly expected to go above and beyond, when they’re not even being appreciated and paid for the much less that they agreed to do.

When you say TGIF, just remember that what you’re actually saying is life is so miserable that you wish 5/7 of it didn’t exist, and you’re not wrong.

Well, it describes an effect but it does not explain why this happened. When “someone came along and told everyone that those terrible ignorant thoughts are OK to think and feel” and then the majority of people “are OK to think and feel” WHY is it that they think/feel it’s ok?

The answer is in plain sight… most modern people have pernicious metastatic terminal disease, a “Soullessness Spectrum Disorder” (https://www.rolf-hefti.com/covid-19-coronavirus.html).

    1. People are ignorant and self-aggrandizing is the originating impetus of hate and compounding ignorance. This is the natural state for some (also, many.) What I’m saying here is that, with this being the case, and with having the more negative aspects of our collective consciousness being rightfully repressed by reason and logic and compassion and evolving societal norms, which all prevent these urges from overriding the psyches of those predisposed to being this way, it was easy for an ideology to form by validating and justifying the darkest aspects of human nature. It’s a tried and true playbook for demagogues. Yes, it does explain how we got from point A to point B, but you’re working from a different point A. There was always ignorance and people who willfully participate in it, but it’s been largely but decreasingly subdued in our recent past by cooler and more substantially powered heads. The more recent and wide validation of it has brought it to a head. We’re just explaining different sections of the same timeline.
